OUR TEACHERS
HAYLEY MILANO
Head Teacher / Founder
Hayley Milano, daughter of a song writing musician Father and a yoga teacher Mother with a passion for animals, it was inevitable her life would encompass music with a spiritual, grounding touch.
Classically trained in the Belcanto technique, musical theatre and classical music singing has been Hayley’s only passion. Moving to Sydney from a small North Coast town in NSW she wanted to pursue her musical career full steam ahead gaining as much experience in the Arts as possible. Accepted into acting school within days of arrival Hayley trained diligently receiving Honours in her Stage Performance Degree. This was followed closely with ED5 Dance School majoring in Singing and Stage Performance.
On completion Hayley was scooped up by none other than Manager Marcelo Gabriotto - and landed a gig working alongside Rockafella’s! Here, Hayley performed in her own stage show and was a Guest Performer with many well-known cover bands touring Australia. Her experience and reputation meant she was requested to perform at high profile corporate events and shows.
Hayley’s career has had her performing in support of Ricki Lee, working with Samuel and Michele Vincent, Jamie Lindsey to name but a few. After too many late nights and an erratic work schedule Hayley grabbed the opportunity to balance life and pass on her substantial musical and singing knowledge, hence started Singing Sydney in 2015. The Singing School took off and has been wildly successful. The dedicated Teachers not only help students learn how to sing but also find their individual niche in music. Some students want to find the confidence to perform in front of an audience and use a stage to its full capacity. Other students just want to sing for friends and family and even sometimes for themselves.
There is nothing more satisfying for teachers at Singing Sydney than teaching individuals to achieve their singing goals, gain a new found confidence in themselves and to sing those goals from the roof tops!! Hayley believes singing is a way of life and takes a holistic approach to organically transform peoples lives through music – in whatever capacity their heart desires.
